April 20, 2023: Covington, TN 38019 The Covington Chargers got by the visiting Houston Mustangs baseball team by a count of 6-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Chargers now possess a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they host Bartlett for a non-league bout on Friday, April 21. Covington will face a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Northpoint Christian (Southaven, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 11-13.
Next, the Mustangs face the Munford Cougars (Munford, TN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 22. Houston will attempt to move on its 25-7 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 14-12 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Kirk Academy (Grenada, MS).
