Fort Cherry Rangers (McDonald, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Freedom Area Bulldogs (Freedom, PA), 9-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Fort Cherry upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Rangers host West Greene (Waynesburg, PA) to battle the Pioneers in a WPIAL 1A 1 test on Monday, April 24. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 7-5. West Greene won 6-3 in their recent league test against Jefferson-Morgan (Jefferson, PA)

With the defeat, Freedom Area falls to 4-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA) to battle the Rebels in a WPIAL 2A 2 test on Monday, April 24. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 9-2. Seton LaSalle won 14-1 in their recent non-league test against Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA)
