Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Marietta Tigers (Marietta, OH), 9-8 in a non-league test.

With the win, Point Pleasant upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Big Blacks travel to Scott (Madison, WV) to battle the Skyhawks in a non-league test on Friday, April 21. The Skyhawks come into the test with a record of 10-3. Scott won 3-1 in their recent league game against Sissonville (Charleston, WV)

The Tigers (2-14) will now prepare for their game against Zanesville (Zanesville, OH). The Blue Devils go into the non-league game with a 2-13 record. In their last game, Zanesville was edged by Claymont (Uhrichsville, OH), 11-1, in a non-league game.
