North Carolina High School Baseball - Weldon can't hold off Northampton County
April 20, 2023: Gaston, NC 27832 In Thursday's league game, the host Northampton County Jaguars baseball team scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Weldon Chargers.
The Jaguars (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Warren County (Warrenton, NC). The Eagles go into the Tar Roanoke 1A game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Warren County tipped Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC), 11-4, in a league game.
The Chargers (0-10) will now prepare for their game against Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC). The Tigers go into the Tar Roanoke 1A game with a 10-1 record.
