The Del Lago Academy Firebirds held off the host La Jolla Country Day Torreys volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Firebirds now have a 19-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coastal Academy for a Pacific test on Tuesday, April 25. Del Lago Academy will confront a Stingrays team coming off a 3-2 league win over Orange Glen (Escondido, CA). The Stingrays record now stands at 24-6.
