New York High School Softball - Tamarac bounces Catholic Central
April 20, 2023: Troy, NY 12180 The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Tamarac Bengals (Troy, NY) and the visiting Catholic Central Crusaders (Troy, NY), saw Tamarac's softball squad nip Catholic Central by a count of 10-4.
The Bengals now sport a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hoosic Valley for a Section 2 Wasaren match on Monday, April 24. Tamarac will face a Indians squad coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Salem (Salem, NY). The Indians record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Catholic Central falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Union-Endicott (Endicott, NY) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, April 22. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 0-1.
