Maine High School Softball - Morse bounces Freeport
April 20, 2023: Freeport, ME 04032 Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME), 11-0 in a league challenge.
The Shipbuilders now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Medomak Valley for a Class B South challenge on Monday, April 24. Morse will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Leavitt (Turner, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Freeport falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Wells (Wells, ME) to battle the Warriors in a Class B South challenge on Monday, April 24. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Wells lost 8-6 in their recent league challenge against Greely (Cumberland Center, ME)
