New York High School Softball - Scarsdale topped by John Jay
April 20, 2023: Scarsdale, NY 10583 The John Jay Patriots softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Scarsdale Raiders to 0 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, John Jay moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Patriots travel to Ketcham (Wappingers Falls, NY) to play the Indians in a Section 1 I - A game on Friday, April 21. The Indians come into the game with a record of 7-1.
In their next game, the Raiders play the Putnam Valley Tigers (Putnam Valley, NY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 22. Scarsdale will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
