The DeBoer Diamond Classic final featured a masterpiece pitched by each starting pitchers, with Lake Country Lutheran coming out ahead by plating 3 runs in the 3rd inning to secure the championship victory. Jack Poellot (jr) worked around an unearned run in the first inning to pitch a complete game victory striking out 7 batters and walking none. Poellot also had two hits including a double and drove in one of the three runs. Gavin Skrzypchak (sr) and Preston Manthei (jr) drove in the other runs for the Lightning.
