North Carolina High School Baseball - West Stanly defeats South Mecklenburg
April 20, 2024: Oakboro, NC 28129 West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), 12-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, West Stanly upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Colts host Piedmont (Monroe, NC) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 23. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-10. Piedmont lost 9-0 in their recent league test against Parkwood (Monroe, NC)
With the defeat, South Mecklenburg falls to 9-8 on the season. The Sabres host Myers Park (Charlotte, NC) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 23. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 15-1. Myers Park won 13-1 in their recent non-league test against Berry (Charlotte, NC)
