April 20, 2024: Norwell, MA 02061 In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting Mansfield Hornets lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-7 victory over the Norwell Clippers.
The Hornets now have a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Franklin for a Hockomock test on Saturday, April 20. Mansfield will face a Panthers squad coming off a 18-1 non-league win over Wakefield Memorial (Wakefield, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-0.
In their next game, the Clippers face the Middleborough Sachems (Middleborough, MA) in a test, on Tuesday, April 23. Norwell will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Sachems come into the test with a 3-4 record after their 21-2 non-league loss to Apponequet Regional (Lakeville, MA).
