April 20, 2024: Bayonne, NJ 07002 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Bayonne Bees (Bayonne, NJ) softball team held off the visiting Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ), by a margin of 1-0.
With the triumph, Bayonne moves its record to 12-0 on the year. The Bees travel to Union City (Union City, NJ) to play the Soaring Eagles in a HCIAL - American contest on Monday, April 22. In their next game, the Hilltoppers play the Westfield Blue Devils (Westfield, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 22. Summit will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 14-4 non-league win over Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ).
