April 20, 2024: Beaverton, MI 48612 In Saturday's non-league test, the Beaverton Beavers (Beaverton, MI) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lakeview Wildcats (Lakeview, MI), by a tally of 11-3.
Next, the Beavers meet the Clare Pioneers (Clare, MI) in a Jack Pine test, on Thursday, April 25. Beaverton will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Pioneers go into the test with a 13-3 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Bullock Creek (Midland, MI).
The Wildcats (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Reed City (Reed City, MI). The Coyotes go into the Central State Activities Association-Gold test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Reed City toppled Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI), 15-3, in a league test.
