April 20, 2024: Chapmanville, WV 25508 The Chapmanville Regional Tigers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Nicholas County Grizzlies to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Chapmanville Regional improves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Tigers host Logan (Logan, WV) to clash with the Wildcats in a Cardinal game on Tuesday, April 23. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 16-6. Logan lost 9-0 in their recent league game against Winfield (Winfield, WV)
In their next game, the Grizzlies clash with the Ritchie County Rebels (Ellenboro, WV) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 20. Nicholas County will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Rebels come into the game with a 12-6 record after their 8-0 league loss to Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV).
