In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Columbiana Clippers softball team scored a close 5-1 triumph over the West Branch Warriors.

With the triumph, Columbiana moves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Clippers host Wellsville (Wellsville, OH) to play the Tigers in a Ohio Valley Athletic A contest on Monday, April 22. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 2-6. Wellsville lost 8-7 in their recent non-league contest against Madonna (Weirton, WV)

In their next game, the Warriors play the Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH) in a Eastern Buckeye contest, on Tuesday, April 23. West Branch will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Dukes come into the contest with a 11-2 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Steele (Amherst, OH).
