Minnesota High School Softball - Mankato West edges Edina
April 20, 2024: Mankato, MN 56001 The Mankato West Scarlets softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Edina Hornets to 9 in the Scarlets non-league win on Saturday.
The Scarlets now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Apple Valley for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 20. Mankato West will confront a Eagles team coming off a 18-1 league loss to Farmington (Farmington, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Edina moves to 2-3 on the season. The Hornets travel to Buffalo (Buffalo, MN) to confront the Bison in a non-league battle on Monday, April 22. The Bison come into the battle with a record of 0-4.
