The crowd at Monday's league battle between the Ridgeview Mustangs (Colfax, IL) and the visiting El Paso-Gridley Titans (El Paso, IL), saw Ridgeview's baseball team get by El Paso-Gridley by a tally of 5-4.

The Mustangs (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL). The Knights enter the Heart of Illinois battle with a 5-9 record. In their last battle, Fieldcrest was tipped by Tremont (Tremont, IL), 4-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Titans face the Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) in a Heart of Illinois battle, on Wednesday, April 22. El Paso-Gridley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Hornets enter the battle with a 9-7 record after their 4-3 league loss to Tri-Valley (Downs, IL).
