The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE) and the visiting Plattsmouth Blue Devils (Plattsmouth, NE), saw Malcolm's baseball team gain a win over Plattsmouth by a tally of 9-5.

The Clippers (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Beatrice (Beatrice, NE). The Orangemen enter the non-league battle with a 3-11 record. In their last battle, Beatrice was overwhelmed by Ralston (Ralston, NE), 11-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Blue Devils face the Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 21. Plattsmouth will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 7-7 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to Gross Catholic (Omaha, NE).
