In Monday's league match, the host Adena Warriors softball team scored a tight 7-6 win over the Westfall Mustangs.

The Warriors (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Zane Trace (Chillicothe, OH). The Pioneers come into the Scioto Valley match with a 4-12 record. In their last match, Zane Trace was nipped by Piketon (Piketon, OH), 9-4, in a league match.
