The Penncrest Lions got by the visiting Lower Merion Aces softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Conestoga Pioneers (Berwyn, PA) in a Central challenge, on Wednesday, April 22. Penncrest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Pioneers go into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 11-1 league loss to Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA).

The Aces (1-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Springfield (Springfield, PA). The Cougars go into the Central challenge with a 10-2 record. In their last challenge, Springfield held off Ridley (Folsom, PA), 10-0, in a league challenge.
