The Springfield Cougars overwhelmed the visiting Ridley Raiders softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA) in a Central challenge, on Wednesday, April 22. Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Aces go into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 6-5 league loss to Penncrest (Media, PA).

The Raiders (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA). The Fightin Tigers go into the Central challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Marple Newtown toppled Conestoga (Berwyn, PA), 11-1, in a league challenge.
