Calvert Hall Cardinals (Baltimore, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting St. Ignatius Wildcats (Cleveland, OH), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Calvert Hall upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Cardinals host McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD) to battle the Eagles in a MIAA A test on Tuesday, April 22. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-10. McDonogh lost 8-6 in their recent non-league test against C. Milton Wright (Bel Air, MD)
With the defeat, St. Ignatius falls to 7-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD) to battle the Crusader in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. The Crusader come into the test with a record of 15-3. Riverdale Baptist lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD)
