In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish baseball team scored a tight 8-4 victory over the University Red Devils.

The Fightin' Irish (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA). The Crusaders go into the West Catholic contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Riordan was overwhelmed by Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA), 12-2, in a league contest.
