April 21, 2023: Coalfield, TN 37719 The Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers got by the host Coalfield Yellow Jackets baseball team by a count of 3-2 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Buccaneers now possess a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greeneville for a non-league match on Saturday, April 22. Boyd-Buchanan will clash with a Greene Devils team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Union County (Maynardville, TN). The Greene Devils record now stands at 17-2.
The Yellow Jackets (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Oneida (Oneida, TN). The Indians go into the 1A District 3 match with a 10-8 record. In their last match, Oneida was edged by Harriman (Harriman, TN), 6-1, in a non-league match.
