Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA) and the visiting State College Little Lions (State College, PA), saw Philipsburg-Osceola's baseball squad knock off State College by a count of 6-3.

Coming up next, the Mountaineers play the Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA) in a Mountain battle, on Tuesday, April 25. Philipsburg-Osceola will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 6-5 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Mount Union (Mount Union, PA).
