April 21, 2023: Elon, NC 27244 The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Western Alamance Warriors to 1 in the Fighting Red Wolves non-league victory on Friday.
The Fighting Red Wolves (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Wakefield (Raleigh, NC). The Wolverines go into the non-league match with a 11-11 record. In their last match, Wakefield edged Heritage (Wake Forest, NC), 3-2, in a non-league match.
The Warriors (4-9) will now prepare for their match against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Hornets go into the non-league match with a 1-9 record. In their last match, Western Guilford was overwhelmed by Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 13-4, in a league match.
