Virginia High School Softball - Riverheads bounces Waynesboro
April 21, 2023: Staunton, VA 24401 Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Gladiators now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Staunton for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24. Riverheads will face a Storm squad coming off a 24-11 non-league loss to Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Storm record now stands at 1-9.
With the loss, Waynesboro falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Little giants host Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA) to face the Green Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Green Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 5-5.
