South Carolina High School Soccer - Gaffney nudges Brashier Middle College Charter
April 21, 2023: Gaffney, SC 29341 Gaffney Indians (Gaffney, SC) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal (Simpsonville, SC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians confront the Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC) in a AAAAA Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, April 25. Gaffney will attempt to better on its 10-9 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 2-1 league loss to James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC).
The Bengal now have a 6-12 record. They take the field next when they host St. Joseph's Catholic for a A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 25.
