In Friday's league contest, the Bristol Central Rams (Bristol, CT) softball team overwhelmed the host Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT), by a margin of 16-0.

With the triumph, Bristol Central moves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Rams travel to Maloney (Meriden, CT) to play the Spartans in a Central Connecticut - South contest on Monday, April 24. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 6-2. Maloney lost 8-7 in their recent league contest against Newington (Newington, CT)
