Maryland High School Softball - Lackey topped by Chopticon
April 21, 2023: Morganza, MD 20660 The Chopticon Braves softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Lackey Chargers to 0 in the Braves league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Chopticon moves its record to 13-1 on the year. The Braves host La Plata (La Plata, MD) to clash with the Warriors in a Southern Maryland game on Monday, April 24. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 8-3. La Plata won 10-0 in their recent league game against Patuxent (Lusby, MD)
In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 24. Lackey will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 1-10 record after their 23-0 league loss to McDonough (Pomfret, MD).
