The Covington Trojans routed the visiting North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers softball squad by a count of 12-2 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Trojans (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Southmont (Crawfordsville, IN). The Mounties go into the non-league battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Southmont topped North Montgomery (Crawfordsville, IN), 34-2, in a league battle.
