Maine High School Softball - George Stevens Academy can't hold off Mattanawcook
April 21, 2023: Lincoln, ME 04457 The Mattanawcook Lynx softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting George Stevens Academy Eagles to 2 in the Lynx league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Mattanawcook improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Lynx travel to Piscataquis (Guilford, ME) to clash with the Pirates in a Class C North game on Monday, April 24. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 0-1.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Bucksport Golden Bucks (Bucksport, ME) in a Class C North game, on Tuesday, April 25. George Stevens Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Golden Bucks come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 13-1 league win over Sumner (East Sullivan, ME).
