Illinois High School Softball - Warren Township bounces Grant Community
April 21, 2023: Fox Lake, IL 60020 The Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) softball the host Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL), 9-5 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Blue Devils (12-5) will now prepare for their bout against Zion-Benton (Zion, IL). The Zee-Bees enter the North Suburban challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Zion-Benton was routed by Mundelein (Mundelein, IL), 16-9, in a league challenge.
With the loss, Grant Community falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL) to battle the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 24. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 11-5. Richmond-Burton won 14-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakes (Lake Villa, IL)
