Illinois High School Softball - Ottawa holds off Sycamore
April 21, 2023: Sycamore, IL 60178 The Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL) softball the host Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL), 8-6 in Friday's league bout.
The Pirates (12-5) will now prepare for their bout against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers go into the Interstate Eight bout with a 4-11 record. In their last bout, Plano by Rochelle (Rochelle, IL), 8-1, in a league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they host McHenry for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 22. Sycamore will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 15-4 non-league win over Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 9-4.
