The South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) baseball got by the host Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC), 10-9 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Stallions now own a 15-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whiteville for a Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, April 29. South Columbus will clash with a Wolfpack team coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 14-4.

With the defeat, Overhills drops to 12-9 on the year.
