Illinois High School Soccer - East Peoria toppled by Cornerstone Christian
April 21, 2025: East Peoria, IL 61611 Cornerstone Christian Cyclones (Bloomington, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host East Peoria Raiders (East Peoria, IL), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Cornerstone Christian advances its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Cyclones travel to Arthur-Okaw Christian (Arthur, IL) to clash with the Conquering Riders in a East Central Illinois test on Tuesday, April 22. The Conquering Riders come into the test with a record of 5-5. Arthur-Okaw Christian won 6-1 in their recent non-league test against Warrensburg-Latham/Maroa-Forsyth (Warrensburg, IL)
The Raiders now have a 0-12 record. They take the field next when they host Illinois Valley Central for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 23. East Peoria will clash with a Grey Ghosts team coming off a 1-1 non-league Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL). The Grey Ghosts record now stands at 0-12.
