April 21, 2025: New Kent, VA 23124 The New Kent Trojans soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Woodside Wolverines to 0 in the Trojans non-league victory on Monday.
The Trojans now hold a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bruton for a Bay Rivers bout on Wednesday, April 23. New Kent will play a Panthers squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Grafton (Yorktown, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Woodside moves to 3-4 on the year. The Wolverines host Denbigh (Newport News, VA) to play the Patriots in a Peninsula bout on Tuesday, April 22. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Denbigh won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Hampton (Hampton, VA)
