Maryland High School Softball - Great Mills drops to Chopticon
April 21, 2025: Morganza, MD 20660 Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD), 20-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Chopticon improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Braves host Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 22. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Leonardtown won 8-4 in their recent non-league bout against Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD)
In their next game, the Hornets clash with the La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 2. Great Mills will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 11-2 non-league loss to Chopticon (Morganza, MD).
