April 21, 2025: Dinwiddie, VA 23841 In Monday's non-league contest, the Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA) soccer team edged the visiting Mecklenburg County Phoenix (Baskerville, VA), by a count of 4-3.
Next, the Generals face the Colonial Heights Colonials (Colonial Heights, VA) in a Central contest, on Tuesday, April 22. Dinwiddie will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Colonials enter the contest with a 3-5 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA).
The Phoenix (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA). The Trojans enter the Piedmont contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Tunstall held off George Washington (Danville, VA), 9-6, in a league contest.
