April 21, 2025: Demarest, NJ 07627 In Monday's league test, the DePaul Catholic Spartans (Wayne, NJ) softball squad overwhelmed the host Academy of the Holy Angels Angels (Demarest, NJ), by a count of 16-0.
Next, the Spartans meet the Wayne Hills Patriots (Wayne, NJ) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 23. DePaul Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 1-7 record after their 7-1 league loss to Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ).
The Angels (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Tenafly (Tenafly, NJ). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Tenafly was routed by NV - Old Tappan (Old Tappan, NJ), 16-0, in a league test.
