The Bedford Bisons softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Central Dragons to 8 in the Bisons league win on Monday.

The Bisons now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hollidaysburg for a Laurel Highlands 1 battle on Wednesday, April 23. Bedford will confront a Golden Tigers team coming off a 17-2 non-league loss to Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA). The Golden Tigers record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Central moves to 3-6 on the season. The Dragons host Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA) to confront the Mountaineers in a Laurel Highlands 1 battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Mountaineers come into the battle with a record of 6-3. Philipsburg-Osceola won 4-1 in their recent non-league battle against Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA)
