In Monday's non-league test, the Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Blue Ridge Raiders (New Milford, PA), by a tally of 16-1.

Next, the Vikings meet the Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA) in a Lackawanna 3 test, on Tuesday, April 22. Riverside will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Blue Devils go into the test with a 4-6 record after their 8-4 league loss to Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA).

The Raiders (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Mountain View (Kingsley, PA). The Eagles go into the Lackawanna 4 test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Mountain View was routed by Forest City (Forest City, PA), 10-5, in a league test.
