Virginia High School Softball - Lebanon bounces Rural Retreat
April 21, 2025: Lebanon, VA 24266 In Monday's non-league match, the host Lebanon Pioneers softball team scored a tight 10-3 win over the Rural Retreat Indians.
The Pioneers (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Graham (Bluefield, VA). The G-Men come into the Southwest match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Graham was routed by Richlands (Richlands, VA), 8-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Chilhowie Warriors (Chilhowie, VA) in a Hogoheegee match, on Tuesday, April 22. Rural Retreat will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 10-2 record after their 10-9 non-league loss to George Wythe (Wytheville, VA).
