April 22, 2021: Chapmanville, WV 25508 The Mingo Central Miners baseball team (Matewan, WV), was overwhelmed 17-7 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host Chapmanville Regional Tigers (Chapmanville, WV)
The Tigers now hold a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne for a Cardinal outing on Friday, April 23. Chapmanville Regional will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 19-4 league win over Poca (Poca, WV). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-5.
Next, the Miners confront the WestSide Renegades (Clear Fork, WV) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 24. Mingo Central will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Renegades go into the outing with a 2-3 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Tug Valley (Williamson, WV).
