North Carolina High School Soccer - Bishop McGuinness knocks off East Surry
April 22, 2021: Pilot Mountain, NC 27041 Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC), 9-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Villains confront the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 26. Bishop McGuinness will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC).
The Cardinals now have a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Airy for a Northwest 1A challenge on Monday, April 26. East Surry will confront a Granite Bears team coming off a 5-0 league loss to South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Granite Bears record now stands at 4-6.
