April 22, 2021: Dunlap, IL 61525 Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles confront the Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL) in a Mid-Illini challenge, on Monday, April 26. Dunlap will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL).
The Pioneers now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host MacArthur for a Central State Eight challenge on Tuesday, April 27.
