In Friday's non-league challenge, the Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) baseball squad the visiting River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL), by a final score of 3-0.

With the win, Mitchell upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Fivay (Hudson, FL) to battle the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 25. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 13-9. Fivay won 6-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Pasco (Dade City, FL)
