Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Trinity Christian Gryphons (Fairfax, VA), 19-10 in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now have a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saint Gertrude for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 26. Covenant will clash with a Gators squad coming off a 17-11 non-league win over Steward (Richmond, VA). The Gators record now stands at 2-2.

In their next game, the Gryphons clash with the Fredericksburg Academy Falcons (Fredericksburg, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 26. Trinity Christian will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Falcons come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 12-9 league win over Foxcroft (Middleburg, VA).
