The East Central Trojans crushed the visiting Union County Patriots baseball team by a tally of 6-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Trojans now hold a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Rushville for a Eastern Indiana bout on Monday, April 24. East Central will face a Lions team coming off a 8-6 league win over Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN). The Lions record now stands at 2-9.

Next, the Patriots face the Hagerstown Tigers (Hagerstown, IN) in a Tri-Eastern bout, on Thursday, April 27. Union County will attempt to advance on its 3-9 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 11-2 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Randolph Southern (Lynn, IN).
