Illinois High School Baseball - Glenbard East defeats Metea Valley
April 22, 2023: Aurora, IL 60502 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) baseball squad triumphed over the host Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), by a final score of 19-11.
With the win, Glenbard East upgrades its record to 8-12 on the season. The Rams travel to Streamwood (Streamwood, IL) to confront the Sabres in a Upstate Eight outing on Monday, April 24. The Sabres go into the outing with a record of 13-4. Streamwood 5-5 in their recent non-league outing against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL)
Next, the Mustangs confront the Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) in a DuPage Valley outing, on Monday, April 24. Metea Valley will attempt to advance on its 8-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 9-6 record after their 3-2 league win over Naperville Central (Naperville, IL).
